Our trip to Sweden!

Hello!
The blog has been sort of slow lately and that's because Sean and I took a couple of weeks off to visit my family in Sweden. It was an amazing trip! We had a great time, ate a bunch of tasty food and saw lots of new things.
I wanted to share a few photos with you. The photos below are taken by me, Sean (my husband) and my two brothers. Dad chipped in every once in a while too!
I'm back to work! Give me a call if you need me!
The Atlantic! We went swimming and it was surprisingly warm.

Here is proof that I did not sleep away the vacation! This is 5 am fog!!

We went shopping one day and the market was right next to this really old castle/military base. Nowadays it's just a building holding offices. What I wouldn't give to do a bridal session here!!

A self portrait!

A little hike took us to this great spot just a few minutes away from where my parents live.

Now for a few family pics!
My brother is cultivating a bonzai! It's so cool and he watches every branch and leaf on it!
Favorite one of my mom and I!
My brother! I wish I could take photos of him more often.
My mom and little brother.

Wasn't sure who should get the photo credit on this one! haha!

My Dad and I talking about how to take a particular photo!

Oh my gosh! My brother and Sean having fun!

These red houses are very old and traditional- a trade mark for the northern part of the country- a region called Dalarna.
A midsummer tree!
This is what the Swedes dance around when midsummer is celebrated- specially the northern part of the country. They are left standing most of the year, but covered in new greens for the celebration.
Traditional Swedish fence! This type of fence is found mostly in Dalarna.
The favorite photo of me and my parents- ever!

This is one of the largest lakes in Sweden- Siljan. We took a lift to the top for this view. I don't think it could have been any more beautiful. The landscape is literally covered with lakes that are this blue and clear. We went swimming in a bunch of them!

Sean is not afraid of getting dirty for the right shot!!

Even Dad is good with the camera!
Here is my little brother and I- he's so much taller than me!

My brother, Milad, is a great photographer!
He got his first SLR back in February and he's so good with it already! Thanks for all the great photos bro!
After spending a few days in Sweden with the family, we flew to London to take in the city of 14 million! My brother lives and goes to school there so we got to stay at his place and have a personal tour guide too! What an incredible place! There was so much to do and to see- we walked 10 hours a day and still came up short on time. Here are a few pics!

It was noon somewhere...but not in London!
I'd say we started our stay in London on the right note!

A great shot taken by Sean! You see the Tower of London and the "Gherkin"- but most important you see one of the famous pigeons of London. Pose pigeon, Pose!

One of the cool things about being in London was to see my old friends whom I had not seen for almost 8 years!
Right across the street from Westminster Abbey is the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben!

Sean gets in on a good angle!
My little brother took a few pics of us while we were taking a break at Westminster Abbey.

My brother and his girlfriend, Petra.
The neighborhood he lives in is so old and very beautiful.

A couple of the many really old and very cool buildings around the south bank.

Borough Market! Here we ate a great lunch and listened to a jazz band playing outside.
Here is a bit of info about this really cool place.
"Borough Market is London’s oldest food market. It was established on the south bank of the Thames when the Romans built the first London Bridge. It has occupied its present site for 250 years."

One of the many bridges crossing the river Thames.

The Tower bridge- often mistaken for London Bridge!
The tower bridge is a common commute route for pedestrians.

The last thing we did in London was to take a ride on the "London Eye". It was so worth it!

"just because" photo!

My cat's little face! She is so cute!
